CHASSIS
The chassis is made from a piece of plastic board from an old LCD monitor.
This material is difficult to machine, but I had it in the shed so... why not use it?
The chassis I made straight away, without any special plans
(I made a simple 3D model in google sketch up 8 just to better see the chassis in 3D) .
I had to mill the bottom and top piece of chassis for the battery and motors, because they were too thick. (see the gallery)
To finish the chassis I spent around 2 days, with cutting, drilling and milling.
When I finished the chassis I couldn't wait to test it. So to see the first moves of the chassis I used main board from an old RC car. (Please see the video)
